Last update:
At FXRK, we expect traders to execute a single trade per trading idea.
This means that opening multiple positions on the same asset, in the same direction, within a 10-minute interval while the previous position is still open is not allowed.
When this occurs, all entries are considered part of the same market hypothesis, resulting in a progressive accumulation of exposure on a single scenario.
Rule
It is not allowed to execute trades on the same instrument and in the same direction within 10 minutes if the previous position has not been closed.
This rule applies when the following three conditions are met:
Same asset
Same direction
Less than 10 minutes between entries without closing the previous position
What this means in practice
If a trader already has an open position and opens another one on the same instrument, in the same direction, and within less than 10 minutes, both trades will be considered part of the same trading idea.
This means the trader is not executing a new independent market decision, but rather increasing exposure on the same initial thesis.
Practical Example
You open a BUY position on XAUUSD.
Without closing that position, you open another BUY position on XAUUSD 9 minutes later.
In this case, the second entry is considered part of the same trading idea, and therefore this behavior violates the rule.
Why this rule exists
This type of execution makes it difficult to assess balanced and consistent risk management.
Opening multiple positions under these conditions implies:
Concentrating risk on a single market hypothesis
Progressively increasing exposure on the same scenario
Reducing the ability to evaluate whether the trading is structured, controlled, and replicable
For this reason, this type of trading behavior cannot be considered valid under FXRK’s evaluation standards.
Final Recommendation
Before opening a new trade, make sure it truly represents a different trading idea and not an extension of an already open position based on the same scenario.
To avoid violations, follow this principle: One trading idea should correspond to a single active execution per asset and direction within a 10-minute window.
